Hi, I’m Kristan - The owner & principal photographer of Kristan McKenzie Photography.  I am a maternity, newborn, family and milestone photographer with six years experience and a mum of two myself. I know first hand how quickly the days turn into years and how easy it is to forget just how small those hands and feet once were.

Motherhood has completely shaped the way I photograph families. I don’t just see fleeting moments, I see the emotion, the connection, and the love that lives in the in-between. The quiet anticipation of welcoming a new baby, the tiny newborn details you'll never want to forget, and the milestones that remind you just how quickly they grow.

My heart is in documenting your families story as it unfolds so you can be present in the moment while I preserve it for you. My hope is that every image brings you back to exactly how those moments felt, not just how they looked.
